Once upon a time there was a princess. She loved lady bugs. She had lady bug toys, lady bug dresses, lady bug pictures hanging in the walls. She loved everything ladybugs
When she went to play outside, there was only few lady bugs in the little garden she played. She wanted lot of lady bugs. So she told herd dad, the king, “daddy, I want lot of lady bugs in my garden, please, please, can you add more and more lady bugs in there, please..
So king ordered all the Gardners, to gather all the ladybugs in all the gardens in the palace and put them in princesses little garden. So Gardners sprung into action. They picked up all the ladybugs and put them in princesses little garden.
Next day when princess went to her little garden, it was full of ladybugs. Rec ones, yellow ones, and orange ones. Princess was so happy. She danced and singed for ladybugs, painted ladybug pictures. All day she was playing in the garden.
But there were lots of ladybugs in tiny little garden. First they were fine. They look for food. They need lot of food. Ladybugs eat tiny little bugs in the plants. And some leaves too. So they are all the tiny bugs there, and when there are no more bugs, they started flying away.
Next day, when princess came back to her little garden, there were no more ladybugs. She was so sad, she started crying. She went to her dad crying, ” daddy, there are eno lady bugs, I want them back”.
So, king ordered gardenrd again, to pick up the lady bugs form all the other gardens and put them in the princess little garden. So they did. And next day, when the princess came to the garden, ladybugs we’re back there. She was so happy. She spent all day, singing dancing and playing.
But again the ladybigs flew away at the end of the day. And the next day, there were no lady bugs. Princess went crying again to her daddy. And the king ordered again to pick up the lady bugs and put them in princesses little garden.
Next day, lady bugs were gone again..and princess went crying to the king. And king ordered gardenrs again.
So now everyday when the ladybugs flew away, gardeners had to collect them back. And they had no time to look after other gardens in the palace. Because most of the time they were picking up ladybugs. All the gardens of the palac started to look not very good. Gardeners didn’t water the plant, they didnt mow grass, they didn’t remove dried flowers. Palace didn’t look nice anymore.
King noticed that palace gardens are looking ugly and asked the Gardners. And they said “we’ll, we are picking up ladybugs all the time, we don’t have time to look after the garden anymore”.
“Hmmm..”, the king thaught, “now we have a problem, we need a solution”.
So he gathered all the wise men in the court and asked what to do. “Princess want ladybugs in her little garden, and gardeners have to gather them and put them there, but they fly away, so garners have to gather them again. So they don’t have time to look after the other gardens. What can we do” the king asked.
One wise man said, “we can build a big net covering the little princesses garden, so ladybugs can’t go away”. “That’s a good idea” the king said. So they build a net. And Gardners put the lady bugs in, and next day they couldn’t fly away.
They were always inside the little garden
And princess was happy. And Gardners we’re able to look after all the gardens in the palace.
In the little garden, there was a mommy ladybug and daddy lady bug. They had a tiny baby ladybug. She grew up in the little garden. She has never seen outside the little garden. All her life she was inside. She grew up to a little ladybug. And she wanted to see what’s outside the little garden. She said to her mom and dad, ” I want to go outside and see, what’s out there”. But mom and dad said, “no we can’t go outside, it’s all closed. We are going to stay inside the net”.
But little ladybug think of a plan.
Next day when the princess came to the garden, the little ladybug, flew to her hair and she stayed there on princessess hair. And when princess went out of the garden, little ladybug went out still in princesses hair. Everyone who saw princess thaught she is wearing a ladybug hair pin. But princess didn’t know. But ladybug got stuck in princesses hair and she couldn’t get out. So she had to go into princesses room with the princess. Princess went inside and sat in front of the mirror and start combing her hair. Now what’s going to happen to the little lady bug?
Little ladybug stuck in the comb and fell down on the floor. She quickly hide under the bed, because she was sacred that the princess will step on her. And under the bed there are lot of other bugs. Spider, cockroach, and ants were all hiding. W
“Why are you all hiding”, the lady bugs asked. “Stay hide” the cockroach said. “If they see us, they are going to kill us, they don’t like bugs inside”
So the lady bug stay under the bed. It was dark, nad sh was hungry.
She wanted to get out of the garden, but now she is stuck in a room, under a bed in the dark. Lady bug feel sad and scared. Sh wanted to get out of there and see her mom and dad.
So next morning, a lady came to clean the room, and she opened the window. Ladybug quickly came out from under the bed and flew outside.
But the palace was so big and there were gardens everywhere. Little ladybug couldn’t find the little garden where she used to live.
She didn’t see any ladybugs, because they were all in the princesses little garden. But little ladybug met lot of other bugs, butterflies and catapilars, clues, beetles, ants. She asked all of them were the little ladybug garden is at, but any of those bugs didn’t know. They said they haven’t seen any ladybugs for while.
Now what’s the little lady bug going to do? She can’t find her mom and dad. She think of another plan. She thaught if she went back to the princessess room, she can go to the ladybug garden with the princess.
Next morning when the cleaning lady open the window of the princessess room, the lady bug went inside again. And this time, ladybug wanted to hide in princesses dress. But the princess saw the ladybug. Princess loved to see the tiny ladybig. Princess too the little ladybug to her hand “Oh, little ladybug, are you lost, what are you doing in my room” sh asked. Ladybug wanted to talk to the princess, but princess didn’t hear anything ladybug said. Ladybug was so small, and princess didn’t hear the small voice. Princess said, “I know exactly where to put you”, and she went to the little garden, carrying ladybug in her hand. And princess put the little ladybug in a plant carefully, ” there, now you can play with my other ladybug friends”.
Little ladybug was so happy, she is finally home.
And she flew to her mom and dad and told them all about her adventure. Mom and dad was so happy to see the little ladybug again.
